36½ years between NWA and Delta. It’s been a great ride.
727 SO, 727 FO, 757 FO, A320 CA, DC10 CA, A330 CA, A350 CA (& a 777 type rating for extra credit).
Instructed on everything. Made lots of friends, wrote lots of articles, made lots of videos, helped bring 3 airplanes to the property (though 787 didn’t make it), authored 3 systems manuals and a flight crew training manual, plus a book of my own. Whew!
It is bittersweet. Thanks and best wishes to everyone I knew along the way.
You’ll find me flying a slightly smaller and slower aircraft with two fewer engines
